Who creates the database and how is the trustworthiness of the comments ensured?
The phone number database and ratings are created by the users themselves. They can add their reviews either through the website or through the Call Insider app.
Comments are posted by the users of the website anonymously, so it is not possible to ensure their 100% trustworthiness. We, of course, get requests to remove comments on phone numbers stating that they are a tool of competition and they have been fabricated. We, therefore, reserve the right to delete comments or even disable comments for a particular number.
Every user can deactivate any comment until the moderators deal with it. Just click the bin icon in the bottom right corner, fill in a short form and confirm the email address where a statement on how the moderators dealt with the comment will be sent.

I was reading an article on Facebook this morning and while scrolling though it I accidently clicked on an ad that popped up. A text message came through instantly saying I had purchased some games thing through SmartMag costing $15 for 30 days! No I certainly did not! I checked my prepaid account and sure enough $15 had been taken from it within a minute. I called the number on the text and unsubscribed immediately and also spoke to a guy who told me that I clicked yes and agreed to the charges - once again no I did not! He promised to refund the money by cheque - yeah right he sounded so dodgy I know I won't see that again. I told him I thought it was disgusting they were able to do this so easily to people but he didn't care one bit. I hate to think how many kids, teens and others they have done this to. These scumbags need to be stopped...

I've Just Collected my Telstra Phone bill and upon going through my charges, i have a charge of ($14.99 Provider - Digital Turbine, Description - Smart Young. I can't find any reference for this on a google search. My Wife has just told me she did an Online Quiz, which eventually gets you to a point where to continue you press 'Continue repeatedly, Until the last Phase where it's an option to Subscribe. Be careful with these sorts of Scams via Facebook or any other social media Quiz games. this number is also Linked with the number 1300 724 406. resolved with Telstra but they say they cannot bar the third party charge from recurring. seems that Telstra has a really bad Security issue.

Definitely a scam. I got it through an online quiz using my mobile. Send the STOP reply, but you still get the first $14.99 charge. Called Telstra and had charge credited, and Premium SMS blocked. Name of quiz service was Smart Young, but other name on my bill was Digital Turbine. Many complaints about these criminals on various forums.
