Who creates the database and how is the trustworthiness of the comments ensured?
The phone number database and ratings are created by the users themselves. They can add their reviews either through the website or through the Call Insider app.
Comments are posted by the users of the website anonymously, so it is not possible to ensure their 100% trustworthiness. We, of course, get requests to remove comments on phone numbers stating that they are a tool of competition and they have been fabricated. We, therefore, reserve the right to delete comments or even disable comments for a particular number.
Every user can deactivate any comment until the moderators deal with it. Just click the bin icon in the bottom right corner, fill in a short form and confirm the email address where a statement on how the moderators dealt with the comment will be sent.

Nearly every day for the past year, I have been breathlessly informed that the warranty on my vehicle is out of date. The situation is dire: it's the middle of a pandemic, and if the warranty on my vehicle gives out, I could be out a serious chunk of money.
Relentless calls from numbers 0884706952, 0884706951 and 0884706950 - all belonging to a nasty survey company that wouldn't stop harassing people and ignoring the fact that if people don't want to answer their calls from one number, they don't want to have their privacy invaded from any other number. It's enough that we have the Australian Bureau of Statistics stripping us of our privacy during their census and household surveys. We don't need such additional private company doing the same!

this number rang my mobile @ 5,20 pm today. hung up just as I answered it. I don't know this number & consider it a nuisance. Anyone that knows me knows that my mobile is rarely turned on as
I recently upgraded to an internet capable phone. I hardly ever got nuisance calls on my old $9 Telstra lite! Now I get about 3 missed calls a day. My phone is rarely turned on, so those that know me ring the landline. I googled the number & it popped up on this site, confirming that the call was of dubious origin. Thankyou!

Calls around 12:30pm every day. Answer it and only silence on the other end. Then they just hang up. Really annoying.

had this number calling me since 14/9/23. called me twice yesterday and today as well - was definitely a scam call as I answered ones without talking and they hung up within 2 secs. I have blocked this number now.

Accidentally answered this call yesterday (usually ignore unknown callers). A woman said she’s from the SA government wanting to do a medical survey. I said I was busy ant the time and she said she’d call me back. There’s way too many scam calls- I don’t want to do the survey- but they keep phoning now. Should have been more forceful the first time!

Called a number of times yesterday and today and asked if I am receiving nuisance calls on my number, my answer was "Yes YOU, stop calling me", and hung up.
