Rang [private number] asked for my name and asked how I was today (suspicious now)
me: Who are you?
them: [accent] somebody I haven't heard of before
me: I don't know you, nor do I need you for anything [hang up]
They called back, once a man, once a woman, from 0405438931, and also I think from 0452363633
I asked what this was about, they told me I had a mortgage
I told them to FO
Would be nice to be able to smack people in the head via a mobile phone.

Scam/fraud. Claimed to be Sean from 'outsource finance', ringing as a followup... He knew my name (not hard with Google). I told him he was lying and demanded an address (204 Centre Rd, Victoria) and ABN. He gave me over 15 digits of 'ABN'. I told him lying - no such abn & I had the database open. He hung up. Clearly a scam/fraud. Block.

When you tell this that you're not interested, he'll actually say that he'll pass the number onto many other people. This might well be the worst of all the telemarketers I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with.

Called me when I was in travelling in London in the middle of the night, which costs $5 a minute from my Australian phone. Told him to call me back in a couple weeks, as I had no idea what it was about. He called back later about a mortgage. Told him I don't have one and that I had no intention of buying. He hung-up midway through me explaining this. Thick Indian accent, seems to be scammer.

I had to block the number because he kept calling (heavy Indian accented man purortingvhis name was Sean and he was from Outsource Mortgage Company. Told him to take me off his list and I said it was illegal if he kept calling me. He insisted it was okay that he wasn't trying to sell me anything and then I told him he doesn't know the laws of this country so take me off the list it's illegal and kept talking over me and told me to Shut up! I said I would report him to the police and hung up, then he called 3 times after and I had to block him.

What can the users learn about a number that is calling them?

Users can find the reviews of the phone number written by other users, the interest in the phone number in the last month and, if possible, its location (for landlines). Sometimes, there are no reviews for a given phone number. If, however, the page has e.g. a thousand views, it shows that it is most likely an annoying caller.
