Indian man from Smash Claims - saying my mobile number is linked to a claim of a car accident in the last 2 years, I said, no and they hung up. Why can't the police get this number shut down!? I wonder what would happen if I'd said yes!

I just had a call from this number. He said
" I'm calling from "Smash Clean" I have some information you had been involved in a car crash within the past 2 years, if that correct ? "
I said NO and he hung up the phone.

Had several missed calls from this number in the past few weeks. Eventually answered and like others have mentioned, female caller with Indian accent asked if this phone number is associated with a car accident in the past two years, I said no, she hung up.

This number calls me every week with a person with an Indian accent saying about a car accident I try to not answer now. And I’m on the do not call list too but it doesn’t seem to make any difference
