These days, most of us have telephones that display the number that’s calling before we answer. This “feature” actually goes right back to the 1960s, and it’s known in North American English as Caller ID, although it doesn’t actually identify the caller, just the caller’s number.
If you haven’t been warned recently that your car warranty has expired, that something has gone badly wrong with your Social Security account or that you are in big trouble with the Internal Revenue Service, then you must not have a phone.
Cannot believe people think this is a scam or a nuisance call. The Rural Fire Brigade are vital in Queensland and their volunteers save lives in an emergency as well as assisting with fire management.

Web is full of people who has been called by this scammer pretending to be rural fire brigade. My phone ousted caller ad Gympie.
