Is the forum moderated?
The discussion on phone numbers is partly moderated. The forum gets thousands of new posts daily, so it is not possible to check every single comment. Therefore we pay attention mostly to suspicious and reported comments.
A new report from Seattle startup Hiya highlights the ongoing problem of phone fraud and spam calls. The report found that during the first quarter of this year, nearly 25% of all unknown calls globally were flagged as spam or fraud — that’s 73.6 million per day.
These spam calls with international numbers, mostly from African and Southeast Asian countries, along with fake messages from unknown users, have flooded WhatsApp and Indians have nowhere to go but Twitter to share their ordeal.

Another pivotel account being used for robo spam 0485997953. The new deal is to ring on mobiles to look like legit calls. Block this number which comes back as "the number you have dialled is not in service".. 100% robots. And on mobile which rings straight after comes back as SPAM... so blocked and deleted
