A woman living in Toronto is facing charges in connection with an alleged international telephone scam targeting seniors.
They always give us a map of where the number should be located if it were a real number.. Not necessarily the actual area the call came from. When they can do that I would be more interested in their locator algorithm.. Give us the actual tower location of where it came from. That would also help the police as well to find the scammers..
So this is a scammers number no doubt. Others in my list are same intro digits just the last 4 differ. 5159, 5151,, 5111. 5196. 1197. 5280. 1199. 1195. IMHO all from the same scammer. Make up your own mind as to whether to answer them or not. Me I block delete & report. It doesnt cost anything to make others aware of these scum.
